SÜLZLE Stahlpartner opens modern bending facility in Dußlingen

SÜLZLE Stahlpartner has reached a significant milestone with the commissioning of a state-of-the-art bending facility in the ‘Untere Breite 1’ industrial park in Dußlingen. The new location, strategically located directly on the B27, began operations on 29 July 2024 and significantly expands the company’s range of services.

Open Day: A resounding success

On Sunday, 22 September 2024, SÜLZLE Stahlpartner opened its doors to the public in perfect weather. More than 1,300 visitors from the region, including many families, invited guests, customers and employees, took the opportunity to visit the new 26,000 square metre site and find out about the expanded range of services. The open day not only offered insights into the modern bending operation, the offices covering around 600 square metres and huge hall areas covering 6,000 square metres, but also a varied supporting programme for the whole family. Before the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon, Andreas and Heinrich Sülzle, site manager Uwe Köber and the deputy mayor of Dußlingen, Harald Müller, gave warm welcoming speeches to the numerous guests. At the SÜLZLE exhibition stand, visitors were able to find out about the group of companies, its range of services, the training and further education opportunities at the in-house academy and much more. Those who wanted to could win one of the many small and large prizes on the wheel of fortune and take an emotional souvenir photo at the photo booth.

Community involvement

The event was a true community experience thanks to the active support of local associations. The SÜLZLE Group would like to express its special thanks to the Dußlingen Volunteer Fire Brigade for their excellent hospitality and children’s programme, the Dußlingen Music Association for the musical accompaniment, the CVJM Dußlingen & Stockach and the TSG Balingen for their support at the interactive sports stations. For younger visitors, there were numerous attractions such as a bouncy castle, goal wall shooting and a play street with water games.

Future orientation and innovation

‘This move enables us to meet our customers’ requirements even better and further strengthen our cooperation,’ explains Uwe Köber, branch manager of SÜLZLE Stahlpartner in Dußlingen. “Thanks to the excellent cooperation with the Dußlingen municipal administration, the building authorities and regional companies, we were able to move with our team in July. We would like to thank everyone involved,” adds Andreas Sülzle, managing partner of the SÜLZLE Group.

After more than two decades on Birkenstraße, this move marks a significant milestone in the history of SÜLZLE Stahlpartner. The company’s ties to the region, the sufficiently large area and the good transport connections prompted it to remain at its location in Dußlingen. The expanded product portfolio includes reinforcing steel and mesh, reinforcement accessories and special reinforcement.
