Excellent promotion of young talent: SÜLZLE STAHL Ehrenfriedersdorf receives certificate for outstanding commitment to training

SÜLZLE STAHL Ehrenfriedersdorf, part of the SÜLZLE Group, has been successfully investing in young skilled workers for many years. The team currently includes nine trainees. This commitment has now been recognised with an award. On 2 November 2023, the certificate for promoting young talent was presented by the chairwoman of the management board of the Annaberg-Buchholz Employment Agency and the managing directors of the Chemnitz Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the District Craftsmen’s Association. The participants had the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes at SÜLZLE STAHL Ehrenfriedersdorf and discussed the current situation on the training market. The event concluded with a tour of the training workshop.

„We are delighted to receive this award. For us, it is both recognition of the quality of our training and motivation for the future.“

Every year, the Employment Agency awards training certificates to selected companies that have made a particularly strong commitment to promoting young talent and skilled workers.

As a modern employer, SÜLZLE STAHL Ehrenfriedersdorf focuses on qualified training and further education and offers various training opportunities in the commercial and industrial-technical fields. These include industrial clerks, office management clerks, metalworkers, metal technology specialists, construction mechanics and technical system planners. Since 2023, the company has also been a practical partner of the Plauen University of Cooperative Education. For SÜLZLE STAHL Ehrenfriedersdorf, training means the future: in addition to a wide range of training courses at the in-house SÜLZLE Academy, further individual development opportunities are offered.

SÜLZLE STAHL Ehrenfriedersdorf currently employs nine trainees and, as a guild member, is committed to providing high-quality training in the Ore Mountains. The company is particularly committed to supporting young talent on a voluntary basis. Alexander Schröter, operations manager and management representative at SÜLZLE Stahl Ehrenfriedersdorf, has been master craftsman of the Annaberg Locksmiths, Blacksmiths and Mechanical Engineers Guild since 2018. In addition to his voluntary work as guild master, he is a member of the examination board of the Chamber of Crafts. His colleague Arndt Weinhold, trainer at SÜLZLE Stahl Ehrenfriedersdorf, is also a member of the examination board at the Chemnitz Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Both are committed to inspiring young people to take up a trade and to generally increasing the attractiveness and quality of apprenticeship professions.
