How does it feel when a forklift truck tips over? What is the impact on your joints when jumping off a truck?

Employees were able to experience this and other exciting scenarios first-hand during the recent health and safety days entitled ‘Selbst.Sicher.’
at three SÜLZLE locations.

The BGHW trainers inspired all participants with their wealth of practical knowledge and simulations on the topic of occupational safety. In an approximately one-hour training session, practical exhibits were used to raise awareness of hazards in groups, including those associated with forklift trucks.

In the fall simulator, participants had the opportunity to learn about the protective effect of restraint systems. In addition, they were able to test the difference between spring-loaded and non-spring-loaded seats and the strain on the spine. The participants were surprised by the forces acting on the body when simply jumping down from a step.
