The church tower, the landmark of the city of Rosenfeld, is currently undergoing fundamental renovation. In order to maintain the historic church as a place of encounter, the SÜLZLE Group has now provided additional support of 14,000 euros. On November 20, the donation check was handed over to Pastor Bernd Hofmann and representatives of the Rosenfeld church community council.

Heinrich and Andreas Sülzle, managing partners of the SÜLZLE Group, who care about Christian values, take their responsibility seriously also in the 140th anniversary year and support sustainable and social projects, associations and institutions. The donation to the Rosenfeld city church is part of the SÜLZLE fundraising campaign, which supports charitable and non-profit organizations on the occasion of the company’s anniversary. A total amount of 140,000 Euro will be divided into five large and fifty small projects over several months. The aim of the commitment is to support people who are committed to health, youth, integration, sports, culture, environment or social issues in the regions around all SÜLZLE locations in Germany and France or worldwide.

The protestant town church of Rosenfeld dates back to a chapel of the Virgin Mary, which was first mentioned in 1319. In its original substance, the tower originates from a monumental extension of the whole church at the end of the 15th century, in which the choir was also vaulted and the vestibule was added.

The chairwoman Siglinde Ruoff, church administrator Luiza Fuoß and Pastor Bernd Hofmann were pleased with this generous component of the renovation and expressed their heartfelt thanks on behalf of the affiliated church community of Rosenfeld-Isingen. The donation barometer is thus filled out by a further step towards the target of a total of 240,000 €.
