Electroplating specialist expands company headquarters using CO₂-neutral steel
Following the modernization of its company building in 2017, C. Jentner GmbH Metallveredelung is once again expanding its production facilities with a resource-efficient industrial hall in the Brötzinger Tal area of Pforzheim.
Covering 4,600 m², the new space will include not only spacious, modern production areas but also social rooms and an in-house restaurant. Managing Director Chris Jentner has been committed to sustainable operations and environmental protection for many years. In addition to separate wastewater treatment, investments have been made in solar power systems and a combined heat and power plant, which—along with the purchase of green electricity—now ensure sustainable production. Jentner sees it as his responsibility to continuously optimize energy and resource consumption, involving suppliers and service providers in these processes from the very beginning. That’s why special attention was paid to selecting competent and reliable partners for this major construction project. In a very short construction period, the team from Kälber-Bau Hoch- und Tiefbau GmbH, consisting of ten workers, installed around 160 tons of “green” reinforcing steel from SÜLZLE Stahlpartner in Pforzheim into the foundation slab. Together, they completed a true mammoth project in just six months—a record-breaking construction time combined with comprehensive resource conservation.
