„France Relance“ for the Grand Est region: SOTRALENTZ CONSTRUCTION is one of the four award winners from the Saverne region

In order to overcome the economic consequences of the health crisis and mitigate its effects, the French government launched the investment plan “France Relance” to revive the economy over a year ago.

The investment plan „France Relance“ consists of three pillars: competitiveness, social cohesion and environmental transition. A total of 16 companies from the Grand Est region were able to benefit from the program. The support totals almost 750 million euros to invest, modernize or realize a development project. SOTRALENTZ CONSTRUCTION is one of the four companies from the Saverne region that will benefit from the measure.

The prefect of the Bas-Rhin department, the Grand Est region bordering Germany, Josiane Chevalier, presented the „France Relance“ trophy to Olivier Schmitt, managing director of SOTRALENTZ CONSTRUCTION, on November 25th at the Hôtel Prefectoral in Strasbourg.

The specialist for reinforcing steel, list mats and segments, based in Drulingen, eastern France, has also been a climate-neutral company since 2021 and is one of the first companies in its industry to offer the opportunity to purchase CO2-neutral reinforcing steel. „To achieve this goal, we determined our CO2 footprint. Wherever possible, we have reduced this directly, including by investing in new, more energy-efficient machines“, said Olivier Schmitt. In addition, large areas of the production halls are currently being modernized with sustainable construction work. Among other things, to improve working conditions and expand our range of services. Since 2016, Societe Nouvelle SOTRALENTZ CONSTRUCTION SARL has been part of the German SÜLZLE GROUP, whose operational locations are already completely climate-neutral.
