SÜLZLE Stahlpartner Munich supports the Munich-Aubing Volunteer Fire Brigade
Donation on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the SÜLZLE Group
As part of the 140th anniversary of the SÜLZLE Group, the SÜLZLE Stahlpartner Munich site is donating €1,400 to the Munich-Aubing Volunteer Fire Brigade, which supports the professional fire brigade in operations throughout the Munich city area. The departments of the Munich Volunteer Fire Brigade are each headed by two department leaders. They are responsible for the organisational and personnel management of the department and are under the command of the Munich Fire Brigade. The active team of 45 members meets every two weeks to continuously develop their skills. The training content ranges from the handling of equipment to the training of special operational concepts. The non-profit association ‘Friends of the Aubing Volunteer Fire Brigade’ was founded in 1984. Since then, the association has supported the Aubing Fire Brigade, for example by procuring equipment or financing the youth fire brigade. The association also takes care of the department’s non-operational matters, such as organising the annual Floriani Festival for the active, passive and supporting members of the association.
With this donation, SÜLZLE can help to continually purchase new equipment to ensure good training and operational capabilities and to meet growing challenges. Branch manager Rudolf Seifert presented a donation cheque on behalf of the entire Munich site to Michael Alexander Karmann, department commander, and Stefan Zankl, chairman of the support association.
