The Biodiversity Trail in Rosenfeld opens its doors
The opening ceremony took place on 17 May 2023 on the biodiversity trail in Pfingsthalde in Rosenfeld. Mayor Miller and Heinrich and Andreas Sülzle opened the gates to all interested parties. “With the support of the state of Baden-Württemberg and the SÜLZLE Group, the town of Rosenfeld has gained an attractive destination for nature lovers of all ages. We are delighted about this enrichment for our town of Rosenfeld,” said Heinrich Sülzle.
The ecological project of the town of Rosenfeld was sponsored as part of the 140th anniversary of the SÜLZLE Group. In addition to financial support, the trainees of the SÜLZLE Group were involved in the construction of the biodiversity trail. Among other things, they were responsible for manufacturing the steel posts.
Now, a wide variety of interactive stations can be experienced in the beautiful natural surroundings in the middle of Rosenfeld’s old town. With the help of station signs, the circular tour offers many little surprises and educational stations about the cycle of nature.
The explanatory beetle ‘Rosi’ playfully introduces young guests to the world of animals and plants. Those who want to learn more can use their smartphones to access additional information for every generation at the stations.
