Pruning campaign for nature: trainees get involved in the orchard

On 19 March 2025, trainees from the SÜLZLE Group carried out the annual tree pruning on the orchard. Armed with saws and scissors, they gave the fruit trees their annual pruning. The orchard, which was created five years ago as a trainee project, is not just a sustainability project on paper, but is now also home to numerous animals and plants.

Under the expert guidance of a SÜLZLE employee, the trainees learnt how to prune the trees correctly. The orchard covers an area of more than 1,800 m² with 24 apple trees of different varieties. The care and professional pruning ensures that the trees are optimally prepared for the coming season.

This project provides valuable experience in terms of teamwork, nature conservation and sustainable action. It shows that even small but important actions can contribute to environmental protection. Thank you for your commitment and thumbs up for this great project!
