SÜLZLE Stahlpartner Weissensee supports RV Sömmerda e.V.

Donation on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the SÜLZLE Group

As part of its 140th anniversary celebrations, SÜLZLE Stahlpartner’s Weissensee site is donating €1,400 to Volkssolidarität Regionalverband Sömmerda e.V., an association that offers a wide range of services for people who need support, assistance and social care. The association now has 52 employees. The Regionalverband Sömmerda e. V. is one of the leading providers of social care and offers various services such as nursing and elderly care, home emergency call systems, social assistance, laundry services, shopping services, pedicure services and meeting places for senior citizens. Assisted living is also provided for single or ill seniors and senior couples who need help coping with everyday life. Comprehensive leisure activities are offered at the senior citizens’ meeting place, where events such as carnival celebrations, spring festivals, summer festivals, Oktoberfest celebrations and Christmas parties were held regularly until the start of the pandemic.

With this donation, SÜLZLE Stahlpartner Weissensee is supporting the purchase of new wooden furniture for the outdoor area. Branch manager Dörk Maushake presented a donation cheque to the representative of RV Sömmerda e.V. on behalf of the entire Weissensee site.
