SÜLZLE Group focuses on sustainable energy

Photovoltaics at two locations

The SÜLZLE Group is strengthening its commitment to renewable energies and investing in two modern photovoltaic systems at the Sulz-Bergfelden and Ehrenfriedersdorf sites.

and Ehrenfriedersdorf sites.

Photovoltaic system at the Sulz-Bergfelden site

A high-performance photovoltaic system with a total output of 72.09 kWp was installed at the Sulz-Bergfelden site at SÜLZLE Nutzeisen in February 2025. It comprises a total of 162 modules and is primarily used for self-supply. Surplus energy, for example at weekends, is fed into the public grid.

Photovoltaic system at the Ehrenfriedersdorf site

SÜLZLE STAHL Ehrenfriedersdorf has also been relying on solar power at its site in the Ore Mountains since the beginning of 2025. The photovoltaic system installed there achieves an output of 72.16 kWp and consists of 164 modules. As in Bergfelden, the focus is on self-sufficiency, with the option of feeding surplus energy into the grid.

The new photovoltaic systems are part of the sustainability strategy pursued by the SÜLZLE Group. We successfully utilise solar energy at almost all solar energy. ‘Our investments in renewable energies combine ecological responsibility with economic foresight. As a family business in its fourth generation, we see sustainability as the key to long-term cross-generational success,’ explains Andreas Sülzle, Managing Partner of the SÜLZLE Group.
