A strong partnership for large silos

SÜLZLE Hagmeyer and Schmid GmbH of Langenau have enjoyed a successful partnership for many years. The company is once again relying on the proven steel quality of SÜLZLE Hagmeyer for the construction of a new silo complex in Bülstringen. Since 2001, Schmid GmbH has been synonymous with bespoke solutions in storage, conveying and cleaning technology for bulk materials (in both the food and non-food sectors).

For the construction of a total of 22 new steel silos, SÜLZLE Hagmeyer supplied around 364 tonnes of structural steel and 142 tonnes of angle steel between October 2025 and February 2026. The silos, each 10 metres in diameter and 21 metres high, are used to store wheat, maize and rapeseed and together offer an impressive capacity of around 33,000 tonnes of bulk material.
