Impulses for the construction industry of tomorrow

Heinrich Sülzle took part in the press conference at the Circle – the hub for urban mining – in Offenbach am Main on 30 January 2025.

The Circle Hub has developed into an important innovation driver for the construction and recycling industry in Germany and now brings together over 40 companies, including the SÜLZLE Group. As an active member, SÜLZLE is convinced that it can make a valuable contribution to sustainability and the circular economy in the steel sector.

The press conference offered insights into best practice examples from various Circle partners. From innovative recycling products and AI-supported sorting of construction materials to digital material exchanges, the projects presented showed the potential of the circular economy in the construction sector.
Under the moderation of Juliane Sakellariou, Offenbach’s Lord Mayor Dr Felix Schwenke and Daniel Imhäuser, Managing Director of Blasius Schuster GmbH & Co. KG and initiator of the Circle, discussed the importance of the project for the city and the construction industry.
