SÜLZLE STAHL Ehrenfriedersdorf manufactures substations for Energie Mittelfranken

In 2025, SÜLZLE STAHL Ehrenfriedersdorf was commissioned by several electrical engineering firms to manufacture and, in some cases, assemble the Höchstadt, Petersaurach, Ketteldorf and Langenzenn substations. A total of approximately 280 tonnes were delivered – including steel substructures, lightning protection masts, mobile switchboards, transformer overvoltage protection, gantry structures and support substructures.

N-ERGIE Netz GmbH operates an extensive energy supply network in Middle Franconia: around 29,000 km of electricity lines, 4,500 km of natural gas pipelines, 2,300 km of drinking water pipes and 360 km of district heating pipelines.
