SÜLZLE Stahlpartner Aichach supports the Kinderheim Friedberg
Donation on the occasion of the 140th company anniversary of the SÜLZLE Group
As part of the SÜLZLE Group, SÜLZLE Stahlpartner in Aichach donates 1,400 euros on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the SÜLZLE Group to Kinderheim Friedberg e.V., a modern children’s and youth welfare institution that is recognised beyond the borders of the city. The work is based on a tradition of more than 160 years, which has always been continued and developed within the association. The association has made it its task to accompany, promote and support children and young people in many ways, because children are the treasure and the hope of every society. With the offer of the socio-educational specialist service, they stand by children and young people as educational advisors and offer support in order to develop a sustainable relationship with their families. In addition, they offer social group work and intensive educational support in after-school groups. In the crèches, kindergartens and after-school care centres, the children are supported in obtaining learning-friendly free spaces for the individual development of creativity and imagination. More than 150 staff members work hard with the children entrusted to their care every day. Around 45 children and adolescents are accompanied and supported in the curative children’s home at Georg Fendt House when they are temporarily or permanently unable to live with their parents. More than 60 families are cared for by the socio-educational specialist service on an outpatient basis to provide assistance when problems arise. In addition, more than 450 children attend one of the seven day care centres every day.
With the donation, SÜLZLE Stahlpartner Aichach supports in particular the leisure activities and excursions of the children, for example a bicycle tour from Friedberg to Berlin is made possible. Branch manager Christian Irotscheck presented a donation cheque to the chairman of the board of the Kinderheim Friedberg Richard Schulan on behalf of the entire Aichach site.
