SÜLZLE Stahlpartner Munich supports the fire brigade in Munich-Aubing
Donation on the occasion of the 140th company anniversary of the SÜLZLE Group
As part of the 140th anniversary of the SÜLZLE Group, the SÜLZLE steel partner location in Munich donates €1,400 to the volunteer fire brigade in Munich-Aubing, which supports the professional fire brigade during operations throughout the Munich city area. The departments of the Munich volunteer fire brigade are each headed by two department heads. They are responsible for the organisational and personnel management of the department and report to the command of the Munich Fire Brigade. The active team of 45 members meets every fortnight to continuously develop their skills. The content of the exercises ranges from handling equipment to training in special operational concepts. The non-profit association “Freunde der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Aubing e.V.” was founded in 1984. Since then, the association has supported the Aubing fire brigade, for example by purchasing equipment or financing the youth fire brigade. The association also takes care of the non-duty matters of the department, such as organising the annual Floriani Fest for the active, passive and supporting members of the association.
With the donation, SÜLZLE is able to contribute to the continuous procurement of new equipment in order to ensure good training and operations and to meet the growing challenges. Branch manager Rudolf Seifert handed over a donation cheque to Michael Alexander Karmann, department commander, and Stefan Zankl, board member of the association, on behalf of the entire Munich site.
