SÜLZLE Stahlpartner Denkendorf supports the Förderkreis krebskranke Kinder e.V. Stuttgart (Support Group for Children with Cancer)

Donation on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the SÜLZLE Group

On the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the SÜLZLE Group, the SÜLZLE Stahlpartner site in Denkendorf is donating €1,400 to the Förderkreis krebskranke Kinder e.V. Stuttgart, which has been supporting children with cancer and their families during and after treatment since 1982. The association tries to make the stay in the paediatric oncology ward at the Olgahospital Stuttgart as pleasant as possible, for example by providing playroom equipment or financing a nursery school teacher and a theatre therapist. Volunteer activities such as Sunday café or waffle baking provide variety and create a sense of community.

With this donation, SÜLZLE is able to contribute to supporting the oncology ward at the Olgahospital children’s hospital in Stuttgart. In addition to staffing positions, the support group also continuously finances numerous small and large amenities such as books and games, magazines and craft materials, and a new crêpe maker for the nursery teachers’ cooking activities. Branch manager Naser Alili presented a donation cheque to Cornelia Völklein, managing director of the Förderkreis krebskranke Kinder e.V. (Support Group for Children with Cancer), on behalf of the entire Denkendorf site.
