The SÜLZLE Group operates in an environment characterised by major economic, social and environmental changes. Rising costs, volatile markets and increasing regulatory requirements are compounded by the urgent need to take responsibility for the climate, the environment and society. For us, sustainability is not a short-term project, but an ongoing process of development.
Our aim is to harmonise economic efficiency, technological performance and sustainability. Based on reliable data, we make well-informed decisions and focus on the key areas of action for SÜLZLE: climate protection, the responsible use of steel, social responsibility towards our employees, and value-based corporate governance. Although the full implementation of the Corporate Social Responsibility Directive (CSRD) has been postponed, SÜLZLE wishes to report on a voluntary basis, thereby emphasising that sustainability plays a central role in the company’s development. SÜLZLE is reporting for the 2024 financial year in accordance with the ‘Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for non-listed SMEs’ issued by the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG). A report for the 2025 financial year will be published here in the course of 2026. In the medium term, SÜLZLE is preparing to report in accordance with the CSRD.

Carbon Footprint / Corporate Carbon Footprint
Only by understanding where emissions arise can we reduce them. SÜLZLE therefore carries out an annual assessment of its CO₂ emissions under Scopes 1–3 and identifies measures for improvement.
