The fifth generation takes the reins

New appointments to the management teams at P.T. Post Stahlhandel and SÜLZLE Hagmeyer

With Maximilian Sülzle joining the management teams of P.T. Post Stahlhandel and SÜLZLE Hagmeyer, the fifth generation will, for the first time, assume managerial responsibility within the SÜLZLE Group’s family history spanning over 145 years, effective 1 April 2026. This step symbolises continuity and confidence in the next generation, which will help shape the future development of the group.

At P.T. Post Stahlhandel, Daniel van den Berg, who has been with the company for three years and has held power of attorney since 2025, will also succeed Hans-Joachim Küsters on the management board, as Mr Küsters takes his well-deserved retirement on 31 March 2026. “We would like to thank Mr Küsters for his excellent cooperation and his many years of commitment as a managing director. We wish him all the best for the future,” said Heinrich Sülzle. “With Maximilian Sülzle and Daniel van den Berg, we are being joined by two young colleagues who know the steel trade inside out.” In future, Andreas Sülzle, Heinrich Sülzle, Jonas Schröder, Maximilian Sülzle and Daniel van den Berg will form the management team at P.T. Post Stahlhandel.

At SÜLZLE Hagmeyer, Maximilian Sülzle is joining the existing management team. Together with Andreas and Heinrich Sülzle and the division heads, he will strategically develop the Geislingen an der Steige site and lead it into the future.

“We are delighted that, with Maximilian, the fifth generation is taking on responsibility and helping to shape the future of SÜLZLE Hagmeyer and P.T. Post Stahlhandel alongside us. This is a strong sign of the sustainable development of our group of companies,” said Andreas and Heinrich Sülzle.
