Together against the pandemic
SÜLZLE offers corona vaccinations to employees in Germany
The right vaccination strategy against the coronavirus is currently one of the most hotly debated topics in the country. The SÜLZLE Group is now setting a good example: the steel, plant engineering and environmental technology company is offering its employees at all German locations a corona vaccination from the company doctor as quickly as possible.
The highest possible number of vaccinations is currently the most important weapon in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. But who will be vaccinated, when, where and with what is still unclear for many people. The SÜLZLE Group has therefore decided to take matters into its own hands: In the coming weeks, the company’s approximately 850 employees at its 24 German locations will be able to get vaccinated against the coronavirus at their company doctor.
„We are absolutely convinced of the need for vaccination“, explains managing partner Heinrich Sülzle. „We can only defeat the pandemic together if we achieve herd immunity of over 70 percent as quickly as possible. As a family-run, medium-sized company, we are aware of our responsibility for employees and the region and want to make a targeted contribution to returning to a regular life soon.“
„We are pleased that a medium-sized company like SÜLZLE is leading the way and, together with us as a partner, is offering its employees a vaccination offer.“
Company doctor Dr. Hartmut Brillinger
„Unfortunately, we don’t yet know when and which vaccine we will receive and in what quantities. Preparations are currently underway internally so that we can get started immediately after the first vaccine delivery”, the company doctor continued.
The exact timing of vaccinations currently depends on when the federal government makes the required vaccines available. The offer is voluntary and every employee has the opportunity to find out more about possible or perceived risks in advance. „The health of our employees is our top priority“, emphasizes Andreas Sülzle, also managing partner of the SÜLZLE Group. „That’s why we not only ensure optimal conditions directly at the workplace, but also think outside the box. We hope that as many companies as possible will follow our example so that the Corona chapter is over for us soon.“
