1.1 Who is responsible for data processing?
The respective company of the SÜLZLE Group* is responsible for processing your personal data. We process personal data in accordance with the provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter “GDPR”) and the Federal Data Protection Act (hereinafter “BDSG”).

1.2 For what purposes do we process your data?
Video recording is performed visually only, without processing of acoustic signals, and is required to safeguard the following interests:
(a) prevention and investigation of criminal offenses and administrative violations,
(b) prevention and investigation of vandalism,
(c) clarification of serious breaches of duty in the employment relationship,
(d) protection of our property, suppliers, and customers,
(d) ensuring insurance coverage for particularly valuable goods,
(e) protection of our property rights, and
(f) in connection with the above, securing evidence for the enforcement and defense of legal claims.
1.3 What is the legal basis for data processing?
Data processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
1.4 How long is the data stored?
The standard storage period is up to 14 days. After this period, data is automatically deleted.
1.5 Who are the recipients of the data?
In addition to the persons within our company responsible for viewing the video recordings and the operations and corporate management, the necessary recipients under joint controllership (Article 26 GDPR) and as processors (Article 28 GDPR) include:

Apart from this, your personal data will only be disclosed to third parties if this is necessary for the performance of a contract with you, permitted on the basis of a legitimate interest as defined in Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, if we are legally obliged to do so, or if you have given your consent.
1.6 Where is the data processed?
Your personal data is processed exclusively in data centers located within the Federal Republic of Germany.
1.7 Your rights as a data subject
Right to object (Article 21 GDPR):
Since we process your data through video recording to safeguard our legitimate interests and those of third parties, you have the right to object to this processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing is required for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
