Reinforcing steel for new terminal at Frankfurt Airport

The two new gates H and J at Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport offer a total of 24 parking positions. They are scheduled to start operation in 2023 and will not only provide comfort for wide-bodied aircraft: Passengers will not lack for anything either on a total area of about 103,000 square meters. The modern interior design concept and the consistent layout of the gates will also ensure quick orientation and a feel-good atmosphere. The walls and columns in the basement of Pier H were largely completed in late summer 2019. Before the next level can be built on the basement, formwork workers are reinforcing the basement ceiling with reinforcing steel. The SÜLZLE Stahlpartner site in Nordhausen is supplying around 8,000 tonnes of steel for the construction work on the new Pier H over a period of 16 months.
