SÜLZLE Stahlpartner Denkendorf supports Förderkreis krebskranke Kinder e.V. Stuttgart

On the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the SÜLZLE Group, the SÜLZLE Stahlpartner location in Denkendorf donates €1,400 to the Förderkreis krebskranke Kinder e.V. Stuttgart, which has been supporting children with cancer and their families during and after the period of treatment since 1982. The support group tries to make the stay in the paediatric oncology ward in the Olgahospital Stuttgart as pleasant as possible, for example by providing playroom equipment or financing a teacher and a theatre therapist. Volunteer activities such as Sunday café or waffle baking provide variety and create community.

With the donation, SÜLZLE can make a contribution to supporting the oncology ward at the Stuttgart children’s hospital “Olgahospital”. Here, in addition to staff positions, the support group continuously finances numerous small and large amenities, such as books and games, magazines and handicraft materials or a new crêpes maker for the educators’ cooking activities. Branch Manager Naser Alili presented a donation cheque to Cornelia Völklein, Managing Director of the Förderkreis krebskranke Kinder e.V., on behalf of the entire Denkendorf site.
