Sustainable trainee project goes into the next round

SÜLZLE trainees care for young trees in the meadow orchard

28.09.2021

Exactly one year after the successful planting of the 24 apple trees, the first maintenance of the tree grates was on the agenda for the Rosenfeld trainees. During the joint operation on September 24, the young trees were cleared of grass growth and wild plants. In addition, the soil was loosened to ensure better absorption of water and nutrients. As part of the maintenance work, the new variety labels for the six old apple varieties were also installed. The successful work ended with a pleasant get-together.

“Now nothing stands in the way of the growth of our 24 apple trees. In addition, thanks to the expertise of our tree specialist, we learned more and more about tree science from action to action.”
